Mrs. Davenport has been teaching at Cedar Creek Middle School for 10 years. She has taught 6th grade science, 6th grade math, 7th grade math, and now 8th grade math and Math 1. She is currently working on her masters for media technology at App State University.
She was raised in the suburbs of Chicago, and only moved down here 10 years ago. She has been married to her husband Brian for 4 years. When she is not at school some of her favorite things to do are taking pictures, and spending time with her family.

Holly Cox grew up in Garner, NC. She currently lives in Youngsville with her husband and two sons. She went to Peace College and earned a degree in Biology, and later went to NC State and earned a certificate in microbiology. She has worked in environmental laboratories including at DHHS's State Lab performing tests on milk, milk products, and water. She joined CCMS in late February of 2024.

She is certified in Middle Grades Reading & Social Studies and Grades 9-12 History and Geography
She enjoys cooking, traveling, shopping and interacting with peopleof all ages.

Mrs. Green attended West Virginia University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with minors in Business and Psychology. She also holds an Associate's degree in Medical Administration from Vance Granville Community College. She completed her teaching certification through East Carolina University. Mrs. Green began as a substitute teacher for Franklin County before teaching full-time. She is licensed to teach ELA grades 6-9.

Brennan Higgins is an enthusiastic and dedicated first-year social studies teacher at Cedar Creek Middle School. Born at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Brennan's early life was marked by a strong sense of discipline and duty, instilled by his father, a distinguished Marine. Though his formative years were spent amidst the bustling landscapes of the Midwest, with Michigan as his primary residence and Wisconsin as a secondary home, Brennan’s roots and values reflect a blend of southern resilience and northern fortitude.

Before embarking on his journey in education, Brennan enjoyed a successful career in Information Technology. His technical acumen and problem-solving skills not only sharpened his analytical abilities but also fostered a keen sense of curiosity and a passion for lifelong learning. However, it was his desire to make a tangible difference in young lives that led him to transition into the field of education.

Brennan's academic journey is as impressive as his professional one. He earned his Associate’s degree from Durham Tech, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and further distinguished himself by achieving Summa Cum Laude honors upon completing his Bachelor’s degree at North Carolina State University. This exceptional academic performance reflects his commitment to excellence and his deep understanding of the subjects he teaches.

Outside of the classroom, Brennan shares a strong partnership with his wife, Dana, with whom he has celebrated 13 years of marriage. Their shared values and mutual support have been a cornerstone of his personal and professional life. Together, they enjoy exploring new interests and creating lasting memories.

At Cedar Creek Middle School, Brennan is not just imparting knowledge but also inspiring curiosity and fostering a love for social studies among his students. His unique blend of life experiences, academic achievements, and professional background equips him with the skills to engage and motivate his students, making learning both impactful and enjoyable. Alicia Hinton is a long term resident of Franklin County. She has two great children and a wonderful husband. She enjoys being inside of a classroom building relationships with students, helping solve problems and teaching all areas of Math. When she is not in the classroom she enjoys being at Kerr Lake and enjoying the outdoors.

Michael McGarr is in his first year teaching at Cedar Creek Middle School. He was previously a teacher in Granville County, where he served for 7 years between Mary Potter and Butner-Stem Middle Schools. This year, he is teaching 8th grade Social Studies, a subject he has taught the last 6 years. He is married with 5 children, 3 of which attend CCMS and one at Franklinton High. He is excited for this new opportunity to serve in our school district and community.
