Ms. Alston has been teaching math at CCMS for 7 years. Prior to teaching, she was an Instructional Assistant, Bus Driver, and In School Suspension Coordinator, all in FCS. Ms. Alston became a 7th grade math teacher at CCMS in August 2017. She is a graduate of Louisburg College and North Carolina Central University! Outside of teaching , Ms. Alston enjoys playing Softball and Line Dancing!

Lowray Bartney Jr. is a native of New Orleans, La. Lowray Bartney and his family moved to Raleigh, NC almost 12 years ago. Lowray Bartney Jr. is married to Kierston Bartney and they have two sons, Christian and Blake. Lowray Bartney graduated from Grand Canyon University with a BA in Communications. He is excited to be apart of the Cedar Creek Family.

Hope Schuler is a graduate from UNC Chapel Hill with a background in literary and film studies. Her expertise lies within literary analysis. She is very much looking forward to a great school year!

Mr. Tolbert attended Emory & Henry University amongst the Appalachian Mountains of South-Western Virginia, where he is originally from. He was a member of the Cross Country team at E&H, and takes pride in being a retired Division III athlete. He continued his education at Wake Forest University, earning his Masters while also serving as an assistant coach for the Demon Deacons Cross Country and Track teams.
When away from The Creek, Mr. Tolbert enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, Belle, as well as activities such as running, biking, reading, watching football, and playing video games.
