What is Title I?
The purpose of Title I is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments.

School Plan for Shared Student Achievement
Let's Get Together!
CCMS will host the following events to build capacity for strong parental involvement. Our goal is to support a partnership among the school, parents, and the community to improve student academic achievement.

JAGUAR JUMPSTART
Orientation for 6th grade students. Students will get to tour the school and meet fellow students. Students will participate in team building activities.

MEET THE TEACHER/OPEN HOUSE
Event where students and families get to meet the staff of Cedar Creek Middle School. Students will receive their schedules and be able to "walk their day" with their families.

Fall Parent-Teacher Conference and Title I Night
Students and families will have an opportunity to meet with teachers and discuss progress so far this school year. Families will learn about what Title 1 is and how it impacts our students. Families can also create Parent Portal accounts, update contact information, and meet with administration.

Spring Parent-Teacher Conference and Title I Night
Students and families will have an opportunity to meet with teachers to discuss progress as we near the end of the school year, and also to review course recommendations for the 2027-2028 school year.

Parents and students are welcomed to the CCMS campus to participate in End of Year Award celebrations.

Parent and Family Engagement School Goals
Cedar Creek Middle School will take the following measures to promote and support parents as an important foundation of the school in order to strengthen the school and reach our school goals:
"CCMS is FOCUSED on creating an environment where ALL students can learn and increase their academic achievement!"

CCMS will continue to support all parents efforts through a parent group.

The CCMS administration will communicate weekly through our final site system which includes email and the message posted on our website. The content of the message is to serve as updates and reminders to the school community for upcoming events.

Teachers will update PowerSchools weekly.

The CCMS website and Facebook page (PTSO) will be kept up to date with current information and events.
